Fixed Fee meetings with our Family Lawyers

Whether to divorce or separate is a huge decision. It is not something anyone rushes into or part of anyone’s life plan. In order to help you work out what you want, and the next steps, Neves’ Family Law Solicitors offer a fixed fee meeting.

Our Fixed Fee first meeting gives you an hour with a specialist family lawyer. During this meeting, we start by asking you to explain the background, your priorities and concerns. We understand that everyone has their own set of circumstances and their own worries. You can use this meeting to get answers and hopefully set your mind at rest.

Know your options

We then give you legal advice about where you stand. You will want to know what the likely outcome would be if you decide to divorce or separate, and the possible pitfalls. We are often asked if there is anything that you should or should not be doing at this stage. We can give advice about this.

We know that consulting a solicitor is a big step and that you may simply want to know your options. Knowledge is power and as your relationship unravels it is helpful for you to know where you stand legally. Your spouse may make threats or claim you do not know what you are talking about. Our hope is that, equipped with the knowledge, you can make a difficult decision in confidence that you know as much as possible about the pros and cons of your choice.

Very occasionally, your appointment may not be suitable for a fixed fee meeting but our family team will be able to advise you in that regard when you contact us to make your booking.

Meet your solicitor

A fixed fee meeting is also a way of meeting the solicitor who would be dealing with your case. You need to feel comfortable with your lawyer and able to trust her/him to be on the same page as you.

How much does it cost?

Our fixed fee for an initial 60 minute meeting costs £150 plus VAT. If you think that a fixed fee meeting in person or by video might help you, then please do get in touch by completing the form below or call 0330 0945 500.
